About the Property
I think one of Tarifa’s secrets as a popular holiday destination is its ability to surprise, and Casa Alcornoque is testament to that. The house is positioned on the edge of a rocky, mountainous ridge in La Peña and only a ten minute drive to the best beaches Tarifa has to offer. Climbing the steep country track to the house, even a vivid imagination does not prepare you for what you will encounter; an exciting and truly hot property!!
The kitchen is a modern, compact and attractive element of the open-plan living, that consists of sitting, living and dining room! The roofs are high, windows enormous, and the design is interesting; one’s eyes do not settle as there is such detail.
Ultimately it is the view that holds one’s attention. The huge doors that are the height and the breadth of the living area, lead to the garden and for me the most exciting view in Tarifa – perhaps because enjoyed from such comfort – looking out towards Tarifa town, Los Lances and Africa. If comfort is not your thing why not enjoy the view cooling off in the most impressive infinity swimming pool in Tarifa!
The master bedroom capitalises on this one-off view with windows covering half of the wall space, so not at any time can you forget where you are. It has an en suite bathroom with bath, shower, and twin sinks. The house sleeps eight comfortably, each with their own private en suite bathroom. There is also a sofa bed on the second floor which would be suitable for two more people children.

End cleaning is included in the price. However, in all cases you are responsible for keeping the property and all its contents in the same state of cleanliness, repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday. The owner reserves the right to make deductions from the security deposit for any extra cleaning, over the number of hours committed to departure cleaning.

I would recommend a car with a powerful engine. The house is up a steep country track, I would recommend a car that is slightly higher off the ground, such as a Citroen Berlingo, Peugeot Partner something of this kind or even just the simple Fiat Panda. Family estate cars can sometimes be very low to the ground and I would definitely never rent a sports car they do not suit the Tarifa roads.
50% non-refundable deposit to be paid when confirming the booking. The remaining 50% should be paid by bank transfer 8 weeks prior to arrival.
Security Deposit: 3000€ to be paid by bank transfer prior to arrival and will be refunded seven days from departure if all is well at the house (no breakages or extra cleaning).
