In A Nutshell
Two bedroom House
Located in the quiet village of Facinas
About the Property
This funky apartment on the first floor in a townhouse in Facinas, can be found down a quiet backstreet on the edge of the village. It’s positioning allows for fabulous views from the sitting room and large rooftop terrace out to the rolling countryside below; of bull breeding farms, agricultural land and the towns of Benalup and Medina Sidonia in the distance.
The open plan living and eating area has been designed with comfort in mind; the warm brown leather sofa; the to-die-for seated hammock with large cushions and the wood-burning fireplace for cooler nights. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. There is a lovely chunky wooden dining table from where best to enjoy fine food and the breathtaking views of La Janda.
The house sleeps four in two double bedrooms. The master bedroom is on the same floor as the main living area, with an en suite bathroom – large bath and power shower. Up some very exciting stairs is the second double bedroom with two single beds, basin and WC; this room enjoys magnificent views through the sliding doors to its rooftop terrace.

“I had previously stayed in the apartment, but this time I rented the house, and came with a family friend. It was amazing on arrival to find so much thought and care had gone into welcoming us to the house on arrival. And, as for clean..I could have eaten supper off the floor !!! The local beach, and beach bar, in Bolonia was pure heaven, watching our first sunset of the holiday. And the weather for two weeks was fabulous. The local shopkeeper, Fernando, spoke great English, and couldn’t do enough for us, including supplying us with the freshest local eggs – which were huge and tasted great. The housekeeper for the house was at the end of a text in seconds when we had a query, and made our departure from the house so easy and friendly. I’m booking the house for two weeks every May from now on! A real find.”
“A really lovely apartment with a huge terrace and stunning views over the valley, especially at sunset. We were a family of 3 with an 11 month old and were very comfortable. Cot and high chair were provided, which was a great help. The village itself is a lovely Andalusian village with a couple of nice bars. Tarifa is an easy 20 min drive and gorgeous playa Bolonia just 10 minutes. A perfect base for a relaxed beach holiday.”
“Very nice house in a very nice and quiet village. Tastefully furnished (Great asset: the leather hammock chair, perfect for the siesta). Clean and ample rooms. Roof terrace with a good view, if one doesn’t mind what seems like hundreds of windmills for the production of electricity. Which we didn’t – they somehow belong to the landscape. The owner has prepared many useful tips (beaches, restaurants, sights) for his guests. What more can I say? We had 10 wonderful days and already are thinking about coming again. And, yeah, thanks for the welcome bottle of wine”
“The apartment is just as described and as it appears in the photos. The views are spectacular, they do not miss a single detail, and are relaxing. The truth is this is one of the best rural accommodations we have ever stayed in. The owners have been attentive throughout our stay. We look forward to returning.”
“We spent one week in this house with my husband and my 2 young children (5 years and 2 years). House really well furnished and equipped. Everything was perfect- Luz the housekeeper is really helpful.
WIFI is available – but we did not use it. FACINAS is a really nice town with several shops where you can find all what you need. We had a very strong wind during 2 days. In this case, it is difficult to use the terrace. Car absolutely necessary if you want to go to the beach, Tarifa downtown and all the beautiful little white villages around (I recommend Vejer de la Frontera). Only one advice for people travelling with young children = there is a lot a steps in the house. Your kids needs to used to and very careful. I would definitely recommend this place.”
