About the Property

Fabulous townhouse in the heart of the old town that is available to rent by the room or as a whole. 

Casa Luz is a Moorish style property that has been fully refurbished and decorated using Moroccan building techniques, an open-air courtyard, a mock-tadelakt finish, tiles and vibrant fabrics.. 

Each section has its own individual character and can be secured for privacy and security; Studio One is the largest unit and enjoys its own independent access from the street, however during the busy months it can be noisy at night time, so if you are a light sleeper you would need to rent another one of the units, all of which are at the back of the property. Accommodation is rustic, but always comfortable. 

Studio One has a well-equipped kitchen with an oven, four-hob electric stove, fridge; the bedroom has a king size double bed and a futon sofa for a third guest, the en suite bathroom has a bath and shower decorated in slate tiles.

Studio Three is accessed via the courtyard of the house; it has a standard sized built-in-to-the-wall double bed, kitchenette, en suite bathroom with shower and private patio with bistro table and chairs.

Guests in both Studios can enjoy the use of the roof terrace and its facilities. 

The bedrooms in the main house are on the first and second floors and enjoy the shared use of the kitchen, dining room and sitting room. The spacious roof terrace is distributed  over two floors and shared by all guests, it enjoys views over the town and out to the beach, there are sun loungers for sunbathing and tables and chairs for dining.  All the bedrooms have plenty of natural light and are tastefully decorated.

Room One is the master bedroom for the house and can be found on the second floor, furnished with a king size double bed, en suite bathroom with clawfoot bath, shower, twin basins and private terrace. 

Room Two is also on the second floor with a standard double bed, en suite bathroom with mosaic-tiled shower and french doors that lead on to the shared roof terrace. 

Room Three is on the first floor of the house, it has a standard sized double bed, en suite bathroom with marble bath and walk in shower. 

Room Four is a quirkier option, with its suspended attic double bed and daybed below, a good option for a couple travelling with a child. The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with green marble walk in shower. 

Casa Luz is located in an extremely central, buzzy part of Tarifa Old Town; for people who are looking to taste the culinary delights at the close by tapas bars, restaurants, atmospheric cocktail bars and brave the early morning surf at Balneario Beach (800m from the house). This is a place to stay if you want to get stuck into what Tarifa town has on offer!

End Cleaning
End cleaning is included in the cost.  However, in all cases you are responsible for keeping the property and all its contents in the same state of cleanliness, repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday. The owner reserves the right to make deductions from the security deposit for any extra cleaning, over the number of hours committed to departure cleaning.

Car Rental
This property is located on a pedestrianised street so there is no accessing the property by car. One can get close by to leave bags. I would recommend parking outside of the old town as streets in the old town are narrow and there is limited parking. For parking options please enquire.
Booking Conditions
50% non-refundable deposit to be paid by bank transfer, the remaining 50% to be paid in cash on arrival.
We encourage clients to take out travel insurance for their trip.

*Arrivals after 20:00 must be advised in advance and agreed by Email with Tarifa Beach Houses.
